Wonderful You

There's nothing super-duper special about this card.  In fact, it's a basic design, but it fills me with peace.  I look at it and it just seems to soothes my soul.   It's amazing the effect that stamps, ink and paper can have on us.

Supplies used:  Just Add Text, Remarkable You stamps, Sahara Sand, Garden Green, Thick Whisper White cardstock, Memento Tuxedo Black, Pear Pizzazz inks, linen thread, aqua painter.

Take some time to find what soothes your soul.

Tie-Dye Technique

I'm in love with the Tie-Dye stamping technique!  This technique is quickly becoming habit forming because of all the great color combinations you can create.  No two will look exactly the same.

Elegant Eggplant, Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst ink was used on the first card.  Melon Mambo and Tranquil Tide is featured on the second card.

Night of Navy, Marina Mist and Lemon Lime Twist (love this new In Color) was used on this one.

I kept the greeting simple since my focus was on the colorful background.  Groovy!

Which color combination do you like the best?

I offer a Technique Class every month.  This is a great way to learn three new and unique stamping techniques or refresh your memory on an oldie by goodie technique.  August class will feature thinlit stamping, dry emboss watercolor and glossy paper ink spread.
