Hand Stamped Cards

Beautiful Friendship

I love how the color combination of Seaside Spray, Gray Granite and Pacific Point turned out on this card.  Another added bonus was that is was super easy to create this card that will be put into the mail for a very dear friend in Florida.

Supplies use:  Beautiful Friendship stamp set, Gray Granite, Whisper White cardstock, Seaside Spray, Gray Granite, Pacific Point inks, Tasteful Labels dies, Seaside Spray Scalloped Linen ribbon

Happiest of Birthday!

This is a great masculine card and was a breeze to create using the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set.  The greeting was stamped using Shaded Spruce and popped out with the Tasteful Labels dies.  I added just a hit of pizzazz for the sprigs with Gold Foil Paper and the Wreath Builder dies.   A strip of Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper finishes it off for an easy, no fuss card.

Nothing's Better Than

I absolutely LOVE the Nothing's Better Bundle!  As soon as I spied this bundle (page 91). it went to the top of my must have list from the new annual Catalog.  You can purchase the Nothing's Better Stamp set and Love You More Than Dies as a bundle and save 10%.

I used Coastal Cabana for the card base and added a strip of Crumb Cake to the side.  The cookie outlines were stamped in Early Espresso and the centers in Crumb Cake.  The word Cookies was cut out using the coordinating Love You More Than Dies, along with the cookie.  The greeting was popped out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  The dot over the die is from the new Playing with Patterns Resin Dots.

Smack Down Technique - Solid Stamp

Yesterday, I featured a card using the Smack Down technique with an open image stamp.  Today, I'm showing you the same technique, but using a solid image stamp.  It's amazing how using the same technique, but with two different type stamps, give you two completely different looks.

Here's a close up

I used the Beautiful Friendship stamp set with Rococco Rose ink.

Smack Down Technique

The Smack Down Technique was featured at my May Technique Class.  In playing with this technique, I realized that the end result was different using an open image stamp vs. a solid image stamp.  Who would of thunk-it.  Here's the technique using an open image seashell stamp from the Seaside Notions stamp set.
