Hand Stamped Cards

Nature's Harvest Stepped-Up Card

Here's another example of my "Plain-Jane (basic) card to fancy (stepped-up) card.

Two die-cut images, and embossed panel with a shaded area.  A simple card, but still pretty.

Nature's Harvest_Basic

Here's the same basic layout, but with with a splash more color and embellishments.

Nature's Harvest_Step Up

The above card has a panel of Shimmery White cardstock with blended colors of Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze inks.  The Blending Brushes make it a snap to create an Ombre color effect.

Christmas Ornament Slimline Card

I used the ornament stamp and die from the Whimsical Trees Bundle to create this slimline Christmas card.  The ornaments were onto Shimmery White cardstock with Staz-On ink.  I used watercolor pencils to add color and then blended with a Blender Pen.  The Christmas Tree dies has a ornament die cut, so I stamped this on a scrap of Shimmery White cardstock and popped it up with mini dimensionals.  The greeting is from the Christmas to Remember stamp set.

Fall/Thanksgiving Step-it Up Card

I recently offered a Fall Step-it Up Class.  The class offered a "Plain-Jane" (basic) card layout and then a "stepped-up" card version.  This was a new class concept for me and everyone loved it!

In preparing for this class, the stepped-up cards weren't an issue for me.  It was the "Plain-Jane's" that I was struggling to create.  Yes, we all love the over-the-top, super fancy cards, but at times fail to see the beauty in the basics - the "Plain-Jane's".  Do you find yourself in the same spot?  I know I do!

This Thanksgiving Card is pretty simple.  It has stamping, die-cutting and an embossed layer.  A Blender Pen was used to blend the ink after stamping.

Thanksgiving Wishes_Basic

This is the stepped-up version.  I added Designer Series Paper that was colored with Calypso Coral Blends and added Very Vanilla Baker's Twine and a Champaign Rhinestone Basic Jewel

Sparkle of the Season Halloween

I used the Sparkle of the Season for this festive Halloween card.

Happy Halloween

My Basic White panel is layered onto a piece of Basic Black and attached to a Mango Melody card base.  I made this card during Sale-a-Bration, so the wreath was cut out using the Be Dazzling paper. I just love the little broom die cut.  The greeting was popped out using the Frightful Tags dies.

Soft Pastels Snowman

Here's another card showcasing the Soft Pastels (chalks) using a Blender Pen.

Blender Pen Pastels

I added Wink of Stella to the snowman for a soft shimmer.

Blender Pen Pastels_1

This was such a fun card to make using the Soft Pastels.  If the Soft Pastel chalk assortment isn't part of your stamping supplies, they need to be.  You'll have so much fun creating with these chalks, but watch out, they're addictive!
